Orange Peels

Take dried orange peels, grind it into fine powder. Add water to the orange peel powder to make a fine paste, apply this on pimples leave it for 10 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. If you have sensitive skin then don’t do this.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree oil does wonders to skin because of its antibacterial and antiseptic qualities. It is widely used in many skin care products available in the market. Wash your hands and face with lukewarm water and dry with clean towel. With help of finger tips apply Tea tree oil on acne spots and gently rub it. Do this for 10-15 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water. If you have few pimples that appear occasionally you should do this regularly, it will give your skin a good impact and within few days you will be able to control your pimples completely.

Aspirin Mask

aspirin

Aspirin contains salicylic acid which is very useful for skin, it helps to heal the acne, removes patchy skin and calms the itchiness of skin. Therefore it is widely used for spot-treatment. For spot-treating pimples you will need aspirin according to number of your pimples. To make a mask for entire face you will roughly need 5-6 aspirin. For Oily skin, crush the aspirin into granular powder. take aspirin powder in a small bowl add 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice, dissolve aspirin into a paste and apply this on pimples or entire face as a mask. Allow the mask to dry then dab with a warm wet towel. For dry skin instead of lemon juice add diluted warm honey and few drops of extra virgin coconut/olive oil and make a paste, apply the prepared mask on pimples or entire face, dab with warm wet washcloth.

Kaolin Clay Mask

Kaolin clay is rich in silica, calcium, zinc and magnesium. It absorbs dirt from clogged pores and then shrinks large pores. It is used as face mask in many herbal spas. Mix kaolin clay with few tablespoons of diluted honey, apply thin layer of the prepared clay mask on your face and leave it until it dry. Then wipe it with wet washcloth. Honey will help moisturize the skin whereas clay will remove impurities from clogged pores. You can skip honey and make mask with only kaolin clay and water.

Baking Soda

Baking soda

Apply mixture of baking soda and water on pimple spots, let it dry for 5-10 minutes and rinse with cold water.  This is one of the excellent and economical method for spot treatment. But this is not for people with sensitive skin.

Oatmeal+Yogurt Mask

yogurt

Simple yogurt mask is excellent for night time spot treatment as it calms pimples and reduces inflammation of the skin. It also helps to prevent future breakouts and scaring of skin. The bacteria present in yogurt are also proven as useful for skin. Apply fresh natural yogurt on acne spots and rinse it with water after 10-15 minutes. You can add handful of oatmeal to yogurt, make a paste and apply this mask on face  for 10-15 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. This is also an excellent face mask for skin.

Cinnamon+Honey+Nutmeg Spot Treatment

Cinnamon+Honey+Nutmeg

One of my favorite spot treatment, it smells great but look horrible!! Grind some cinnamon sticks and nutmeg into fine powder. Dilute honey by warming it along with few drops of water. Now add prepared powder and diluted honey in a bowl and mix well. Keep this paste aside for about half an hour. Apply the prepared mask on pimples, acne scars and blemishes. Let it do work for about 30 minutes. Later rinse face with lukewarm water and dab with clean washcloth. If using this as face mask for whole face apply it for only 15 minutes. Use this method regularly to stay away from pimples.

Rose-hip Oil

Rosa hips

Rose-hip oil is great for treating spots on dry skin. It replenishes moisture in skin and removes blemishes and spots. Its widely used to heal scars. Before using rose-hip oil on face Cleanse your hands and face so that you are not transferring bacteria to your face. Gently rub rose-hip oil on your pimple spots with your finger tips for few minutes then rinse with lukewarm water. Do this regularly to remove spots and blemishes.

Toothpaste

Toothpaste is not only used for brushing your teeth but treating burns and spots too. Applying a thin layer of any white toothpaste (not gel toothpaste) on pimple spots will reduce inflammation and swelling and helps to heal them. Apply on pimples and let it dry, then remove with wet washcloth or clean cotton swab. Use this method overnight to get best results. I often burn my hands in kitchen and as soon as i have burns i will apply toothpaste to burnt area. You wont believe that it will really calm down the burning sensation and also prevent from forming water blisters.
